Teen-Aid teaches universal concepts that transcend race, ethnic backgrounds and family configurations. The success of Teen-Aid is highly dependent upon the teacher’s conviction and expectation for the healthiest possible behavior. Teen-Aid uses discussion and activities which integrates the social skills into any cultural or sub cultural environment. In previous research studies done by Teen-Aid, the student most impacted by the skill based message, were students who have moved their residence, had single parent families and students who had engaged in sexual activity prior to the Teen-Aid program. |
