Stopping Point “If I had had the opportunity to be the guest, my point would have been that the purpose of sex education is not to decrease teen pregnancies, but to increase healthy sexual behavior. Additionally, any behavior which causes sexually stimulation, (intercourse, oral sex, mutual masturbation, foundling) is not an abstinence behavior. Because we teach character our stopping point is avoiding any behavior that is sexually stimulating. Abstinence until Marriage and Character Education protects teens from unhealthy behaviors and provides the best opportunity for a bright future. Emotionally healthy teens are not teens who use oral sex as a stopping point, respecting the other person and not making them a ‘sex toy’ does.”
