Hi,
my name is Heather Ferguson. I am
20 years old and currently attending Utah Valley College on a voice
scholarship. This past October I was crowned the new Miss South Jordan.
Not too much later I was able to meet with Leslie Wanlass and was introduced to the Teen-Aid Program. Teen-Aid is an "abstinence until marriage" curriculum. After meeting with her and learning about this wonderful program, I decided it was a great message for the teens of Utah and the nation. I decided to make it my platform issue and take it with me to the Miss Utah pageant in June. I enjoy being around others, speaking and presenting this material, participating in the social scene at school and performing on stage whenever I get the chance.
My goal is to graduate from Brigham Young University and then move on to work as a performer for Disney. The next step, become the next Miss America!
